Whether Jason Giambi was going to win the final All-Star vote or not, his resurgence for the Yankees this year comes at an interesting crossroads in his career. The former AL MVP is at the end of the seven-year, $120 million contract with the Yanks. At 37 years old and the team going through a youth movement, you’d think that it would be an easy decision for the franchise to let him go. However, if the second half of the season is equally as good as the first, Giambi’s future can be more tenuous than before the 2008 campaign began.
